Charge Up Your MLM Business With These Two Things (Part 2)
Posted on May 16th, 2012 No commentsIn my last post, Part 1 of Charge Up Your MLM Business, I talked about the PSYCHOLOGY of achieving lasting success.
The two main points I covered were your Information Identity and Intentions along with Competence and Confidence. Most importantly from each was the fact that your intentions can be disassociated with who you currently are (which is likely based on the past.) High performers base their thinking BEYOND their current capabilities.
Intentions should be based on the future.
Secondly, by focusing on your mindset and knowledge (learning), you will ultimately challenge yourself to the level in which your confidence soars. LEARNING FUELS CONFIDENCE!

Three Great Reasons to Join a MLM Company
Posted on May 8th, 2012 No comments
This is a ‘back to the basics’ post. While there is so much hype surrounding this industry, it’s often hard to tell what’s real and what’s not. 97% of all those who start a network marketing business fail…mostly due to lack of marketing knowledge and training and a willingness to truly work hard for the long haul. Note that the word “work” IS part of network marketing. So why join a network marketing company if the statistics are against you from the get go? What’s in it for you? What’s REAL?
Here are three great reasons to join a network marketing company and become part of the minority that actually succeed. There are many more great reasons, but I like these three as the basis for owning a business. Read the rest of this entry »

Three Off-Line Ways to Prospect for MLM Leads
Posted on May 1st, 2012 No commentsIt’s Not Just What Works, It’s What Duplicates!
While many network marketers now prospect a good majority of the time on-line, we must remember that our success line (downline) needs to be able to do (and duplicate) marketing strategies when they first get started.
Let’s face it – there’s a definite learning curve to on-line marketing as well as some associated costs. Therefore, if you can give your newly sponsored person many ways to recruit right of the bat, with no technical knowledge required and at little to no cost, they will see results right away and perhaps be successful sooner than later.
The following ideas are super simple lead generating ideas, and they work. Read the rest of this entry »

MLM Branding: 5 Tips for Building Your “You, Inc.” Brand
Posted on April 30th, 2012 No comments“Lead with your brand and let the compensation follow.” Dan Schawbel
The key to riches in this interconnected world of MLM is to stand out among the people out there touting their latest network marketing companies and, instead, be the one to build “You” and your brand while offering value at the same time.
You are not selling your primary company, you are selling YOU. Without You, Inc., you have nothing to sell.
PERSONAL BRANDING is the combination of your personality, your background and what you stand for and offer in the marketplace.
Here are five quick tips to consider when building your brand. Read the rest of this entry »

One Big Fat Lie in Network Marketing
Posted on April 26th, 2012 No commentsWe Will Build it and They Will Come (NOT)
Over the last few years, I have seen so many on-line ads and emails and websites that promise “We will build your network marketing business for you!” Wow. Wouldn’t that be something if that were true?
Within our pervasive “instant” McDonald’s drive thru society mentality, many people DO fall for this or at least hope that it’s possible, and go ahead and sign up for scams. So you’re just supposed to sign up as a ‘place holder’ so to speak, and obscene amounts of money are going to just appear in your bank account? Riiiiiigght. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ll Write in my Network Marketing Blog Tomorrow
Posted on April 23rd, 2012 No commentsTomorrow Never Comes…
In the town I grew up in, there’s Turoni’s Pizza and Pub. I went there to eat great food from the time I was a child and into my 20′s and now, whenever I happen to visit ‘home’. In it, is a sign still posted that says “Free Beer Tomorrow”. Very Clever

Match YOUR Passion to Your Network Marketing Business
Posted on April 17th, 2012 No commentsIt’s YOUR choice and YOURS ONLY to Include Passion in Your Work
YOU get to choose your network marketing company. It’s not like the Human Resources Department in a corporation that chooses you (or not) for a job.
YOU have the choice and opportunity to work with products and a company that you WANT to work with and pursue your passion. How EXCITING is that!

You have one life to live. How sad it often is that many people stay stuck in one job or occupation and dread heading out to work every morning. They hate Sunday nights because Monday morning they have to return to their cubicle or wherever. How tragic it is that they stick to that job until they retire? Read the rest of this entry »

Paint By Numbers in Your MLM
Posted on April 10th, 2012 No commentsEmotions Out, Numbers In
There can be alot of emotion revolving around your own business, but as Mike Dillard says it’s freeing to replace the emotions by “the unemotional reality that it’s just business.”
The best way to build your network marketing business plan is through “You, Inc.” and by the numbers. Yes – it IS a person to person, belly to belly business – you have to talk to people, but it must be viewed analytically in order to know where you’re going and how you are going to achieve your goals.
Numbers will lead you in the right direction far better than emotion. I recently read a great example instructional post about calculating the numbers from Rob Fore, one of my mentors in the network marketing business. I wrote a different, interesting blog post about him here.Where do You Want Your Business To Take You?
So what is it you want to achieve in your network marketing business? How much money do you want to make? In what time frame? How many leads will it take you to get there? How many leads can you close – what is the ratio? Time and experience and the numbers can tell you. Read the rest of this entry »
